As a data enthusiast, Ricky loves to think the real life issues in a quantitative way. He likes to talk about probability and alternative. He’s proud of his Bayesian skepticism based on years of scientific training. He was trained to be an experimental biologist in China, and then a computational biologist in Tennessee until one day he found himself more interested in applying his quantitative skills to solve real business issues. After accomplishing his PhD in Computational Biology and Master in Statistics, and an enjoyable and fruitful internship as data scientist in Silicon Valley, he came to explore the Big Apple and joined the NYC Data Science Fellowship to further develop his data scientist career.
NYC Data Science Academy teaches data science, trains companies and their employees to better profit from data, excels at big data project consulting, and connects trained Data Scientists to our industry.
