Sofia comes with a multifaceted background that includes Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, and Project Management. She received her Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University and is CSM and CSPO Certified. Before joining NYC Data Science Academy she worked as a Social Media Manager, optimizing paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and AdWords. Sofia is currently interested in providing solutions to complexed business challenges using Big Data application with Spark and Hadoop, data pipeline building, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning.
