Adamβs passion for data science is a natural extension of his previous education and experience. Adam Cone received his BA with honors in Math from NYU and received the NYU Mathematics Award. He received an MA from UCLA in Applied Mathematics and an MS from Columbia University in Structural Engineering. In his research at NYU, Adam applied Monte Carlo simulation to model neural activity in the visual cortex. At NYC Data Science Academy Adam dove into programming with R and Python and enriched his toolbox of machine learning algorithms.
