During his career as a Sales Associate, Taraqur analyzed data to help support both the sales and marketing teams. Seeing through his own eyes how much data can influence decisions, Taraqur joined NYC Data Science Academy as a data scientist in training where he is learning to combine his interests in data, decision-making, and analysis. Taraqur graduated with a major in Physics from St. John’s University in 2013. In his spare time, Taraqur likes to play basketball, practice MMA, and compete in chess tournaments.
