Brendan is a software developer with expertise in data science and geospatial technology. He is Founder and Principal at makepath, a spatial data science firm in Austin, Texas. In addition to being an active contributor on several open source projects including Datashader and Bokeh, he most recently created the Xarray-Spatial library for large scale spatial analysis. He has worked with companies including Anaconda, NASA, Samsung, The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, USAID, and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
