NYC Data Science Academy is conveniently located in Midtown New York City between Penn Station and Times Square. It easily accessible if you’re commuting from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or Pennsylvania.
Located between the Empire State Building and the newly constructed Hudson Yards development on the west side of Midtown Manhattan near Madison Square Garden, NYC DSA is easily accessible by rail, bus and motor vehicles. Street parking is also available.
Our office address is 500 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10018. It is a 3-minute walk from Pennsylvania Station (locally known as Penn Station) and 7-minute walk from Port Authority Bus Terminal and surrounded by great restaurants, shopping centers, coffee shops, parks and more.

By MTA New York City Subway
For the A, C, and E trains, exit at 34 St – Penn Station stop and walk northwest to West 35th Street towards 8th Avenue. Take a right on 8th Avenue, and the building will be on your right-hand side.
For the 1, 2, and 3 trains, exit at 34 St – Penn Station at West 34th Street and 7th Avenue/Fashion Avenue. Walk northwest to West 35th Street towards 8th Avenue. Take a right on 8th Avenue, and the building will be on your right-hand side.
For the B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, and W trains, exit at 34th St-Herald Square stop at West 35th Street and 6th Avenue/ Avenue of the Americas. Walk northwest to West 35th Street towards 8th Avenue. Make a right on 8th Avenue, and the building will be on your right-hand side.
By PATH Train
Our Offices are accessible via the Hoboken and Journal Square Lines to 33rd Street Station. When you arrive at the 33rd Street Station, exit the PATH station at West 33rd Street and 6th Avenue and walk to the northwest corner of West 35th Street. Make a left on West 35th Street and walk toward 8th Avenue. When you arrive at the corner of 8th Avenue, make a right onto 8th Avenue, and the building will be on your right-hand side.
By MTA Long Island Railroad (LIRR)
All Long Island Railroad Lines terminate at 34th St- Pennsylvania Station. When you exit the LIRR train, in Penn Station come up the stairs to the main platform and Walk toward the 8th Avenue exits and use the Northwest Exit for West 35th Street. Make a right onto 8th avenue and the building will be on your right-hand side.
By MTA Metro North via Grand Central Terminal
NYC DSA is accessible if you are traveling from Westchester or Connecticut via Metro-North Railroad. All Metro-North Railroad lines terminate at Grand Central Terminal on 42nd street which is on the East Side of Manhattan. When you exit the MNR, transfer to Subway and take the SHUTTLE (S) to Times Square 42nd Street. From there, transfer to the A, C, or E Train and take it one stop to 34 St – Penn Station. Walk northwest to West 35th Street towards 8th Avenue. Take a right on 8th Avenue, and the building will be on your right side.
By NJ Transit and Amtrak railroads
NYC DSA is also accessible via 34th St- Pennsylvania Station when you travel by the following train lines:
- North Jersey Coast Line
- Northeast Corridor Line
- Gladstone Line
- Morristown Line
- Montclair Boonton Line
- Amtrak railroads
When you exit the NJ Transit Center, in Penn Station come up the stairs to the main platform and walk toward the 8th Avenue exits and use the exit for West 35th Street. Make a right onto 8th Avenue and the building will be on your right-hand side.
By Bus via Port Authority Bus Terminal
NYC DSA is also accessible via buses such as Greyhound, NJ Transit, Megabus, Peter Pan, and other major bus carriers. From Port Authority Bus Terminal, disembark any bus line and follow the sign prompts to the New York City Subway line A C E and look for the Downtown and Brooklyn sign. Take any A, C or E train to one stop to 34 St – Penn Station. Use the exit for West 35th Street. Make a right onto 8th Avenue and the building will be on your right-hand side.
If you choose to walk, it takes about 7-minutes to reach NYC DSA from Port Authority Bus Terminal. Take a right from the exit and walk straight towards 35th street. Cross the road to enter the building.
