Michael Goldman is an experienced data analyst with a background in economics, mathematics, and computer science (Python, R, SQL, Stata, Java, and VBA). He has worked as a Data Analyst for NERA Economic Consulting, providing expert testimony and consulting in applied economics. Data Science combines his passions for programming, analytics, and econometrics. At NYCDS, Michael developed his skills in Python, R, data visualization, and predictive modeling. He mapped over 1.2 million crimes in NYC from 2006 to 2016, scraped Glassdoor for information on skills and salaries of data science job postings, and classified and analyzed criminal behavior using police data.
